The following statement is the first principle the Lord gave to me as He began teaching me about how to live trouble free:
All scripture must be interpreted in the absolute knowledge of this truth. That God is Love.
If we do not understand that God is absolutely and only love, we will misunderstand His Word. This can cause us to think wrong thoughts about the nature of God, therefore not understanding His methods and motives. Understanding God’s nature is absolutely necessary in order for us to properly interpret His Word and His plan for our lives.

It is a common belief that trouble (stress, pressure, trials) is just part of life and is unavoidable. But God’s Word reveals something quite the opposite. God is good and because life comes from God life is supposed to be good.
Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. — John 14:27
Jesus said, “I came that they may have and enjoy life and have it in abundance, to the full, till it overflows.” –John 10:10
The simple truth is that trouble, persecution and tribulation is part of the curse – just like sin, sickness, poverty and death. According to Galatians 3:13 we have been redeemed from (no longer subject to) the curse.
It is possible to live free from troubles in our world if we know how to operate in our covenant with God. Jesus offers us His peace and the world offers trouble. Chose peace.
Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives to I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.] –I John 14:27
Living Trouble Free is not something new, it is something renewed. God has always intended for us to live trouble free – it is now time for us to choose to do so.
